NINA HONS
(formerly Nina Kedzierska)
Nina Kedzierska was born, raised and studied art at an early age in Gdansk, Poland. Her early influences included: Ignacy Klukowski, a follower of the Parisian Impressionism School and Jacek Zulawski who belonged to the Sopot School. Nina became a self-supporting artist at the age of seventeen years. Her original artworks were her sole source of support. Originally a painter, Nina transcended her talents to handwoven tapestries made from self-dyed sisal, some with accents of fiber and metal objects. Her works are all original and unique. Nina has created custom, original and handmade art pieces for many private clients in the U.S. and countries abroad to include: Norway, Finland, Germany, and Austria. Nina has created more than 300 original works of art of various mediums, including: original hand-woven tapestries made on a stationary wooden frame, oil and acrylic paintings, and mixed media collages. More information about her original history and works can be found on her website Ninahons.com
